MFA (Multifactor-Authentication) / OTP (One Time Password)
In order to increase login security, some IT services at ETH require a second factor in addition to the ETH user name and password.
The following systems currently require multifactor authentication (hereinafter abbreviated as MFA):
- eDoz
- IAM (requires admin rights in this application)
- Web Center (for users who have already been activated for the MFA solution)
- SAP (you can find information about using MFA for SAP here)
- Webmail
as well as the centrally provided web applications:
- Microsoft 365
- Zoom
- Google Workspace
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Phone Control Center
- CRM Serv
Attention
Please make sure you enter your authentication data for resetting the MFA before registering for multi-factor authentication. See this video for detailed instructions
