With the start of the autumn semester 2024, ETH Zurich will introduce a mandatory Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policy for new students at all levels. This means that new students are obliged to have a mobile computer at the beginning of their studies. The mobile computers will be used in the various courses, exercises, practicals and performance assessments.
