In order to increase login security, some IT services at ETH require a second factor in addition to the ETH user name and password.

MFA (Multifactor Authentication) / OTP (One Time Password)

In order to increase login security, some IT services at ETH require a second factor in addition to the ETH user name and password.

The following systems currently require multifactor authentication (hereinafter abbreviated as MFA):

• eDoz
• IAM (for users with admin rights in this application)
• Web Center (for users who have already been activated for the MFA solution)
• SAP (information on using MFA for SAP can be found here)
• Webmail

as well as the centrally provided web applications such as:

• Microsoft 365
• Zoom
• Google Workspace
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Phone Control Center
• CRM Servix

Attention

Please make sure you enter your authentication data for resetting the MFA before registering for multifactor authentication. See this video for detailed instructions.
