Apple Mail and Calendar

1. ETHZ Microsoft 365: add Apple Mail, Calendar and Contacts
   Please note: Enter your ETH username in the form username@ethz.ch in the email address field!

   

2. Customise the email address

Customise the email address (@arch) manually in Apple Mail

In Apple Mail, the email address (@arch) currently has to be customised manually.

Webmail address (Outlook Web Access)

If you access your emails via a browser, please use this URL:

outlook.office.com

1. Select ‘Search’ [1] and enter ‘Add account’ [2]. Then tap ‘Add account’ [3] and choose ‘Microsoft Exchange’ [4]. On iPadOS, you can find the search by swiping down from the centre of the home screen or the lock screen.

   

2. Under Description, enter ‘ETH Mail’ [1]. Under Email, enter ‘username@ethz.ch’ [2]. Then tap ‘Next’ [3]. In the next window, select ‘Sign in’ [4] and then ‘Continue’ [5].

   

3. Your ‘username@ethz.ch’ [1] should now already be entered. Enter your ETH standard password [2] below and tap ‘Sign in’ [3]. In the next window, enter your OTP (One Time Password) [4] and tap ‘Send’ [5]. Finally, select the desired options [6] and tap ‘Save’ [7].

   

4. Your iOS or iPadOS app ‘Mail’ is now ready for use. In addition, ‘Contacts’, ‘Calendar’, ‘Reminders’ and ‘Notes’ are optionally available.
